I get the sense that Todd identifies with turtles...they're like the hoody-wearers of the animal kingdom.

incredible. two songs that perfectly encapsulate everything i hated about pop music as a kid in the 90's

This is not pertinent to anything, but I've been looking forward to a Garbage episode ever since one was teased. Also, I think a Siouxsie and the Banshees vs Echo and the Bunnymen episode would be great for the name alone

Nowhere Girl

As a member of the coveted pro-turtle demographic, I appreciated the pandering. Might watch the movie.

I saw it the weekend it came out and remember the movie stopped due to the projector not working and waited a while before it came back on

I've only heard good things about Popstar since it was released, but I finally decided to watch it after watching Palm Springs when it was released earlier this summer on Hulu. Still waiting on my library DVD hold to be available, but it seems like it'll be a fun movie

I'm so excited about this! Love this movie so much. We watched it maybe 3 months ago, and just the other night we got stoned and were looking for a movie, and were like "we... we could just watch Popstar again." It never gets old. So funny, and so much actual talent.

I literally had a little squeal of delight when I saw this notification come up; I _love_ this movie without any irony.

I actually got the Jazz reference @23:50 — talk about a throwback. This movie deserved better marketing, and "Special Girl" alone makes it funnier than most spoof movies.
