December Plan

Morning. December is quickly becoming a busy month as I've made some changes and want to get some stuff done before the new year.

1) I've stepped away from the editor position for that third project I've been working on. I simply just want to dedicate more time to "My Catgirl Maid" as we prepare for its end.

With MA going on break for the month after episode 3 is released, I'll be free to dedicate 100% of my time to working on everything Cynthia.

2) I'll be going through the earlier chapters to give it another good polishing job. I'm hoping to have Chapters 1-6 fully polished and as close to final as I can humanly get by the next update. (There'll always be something that slips through the cracks. You can see it in professional work too.)

3) I've started work on the "A Look Back" series for "My Catgirl Maid". I've written up to Chapter 6 and will be releasing them once a month starting in January.  I'll be posting an Introduction segment for it this month which just gives some insight into the preproduction and explains what I'll be highlighting. 

It'll also have a disclaimer in it reminding people that these segments will be for entertainment purposes only and not to take things too seriously. I'll be overanalyzing everything like a youtube reviewer but more just so story nerds like myself can just nod along and be like "Hmm. Yes. Indeed." haha

4) Putting Ch10 in the engine will begin shortly so I can get some screenshots up throughout the month. I have a couple new backgrounds I've been meaning to post as well so I'll get those up. And I will be expecting some CG artwork for Ch10 too. Look forward to that. 

5) Amongst all that will also be writing for Ch11. I'll be writing that chapter with mixed emotions as I'm excited to be getting to that point but also trying not to be too sad that the story is almost over.

6) I'll have a lot of art coming in the next couple of months as I try to wrap up all the backgrounds and costumes needed for the rest of the game so we can remove those from the checklist.

Here's a rough estimate of what's completed percentage wise for art:

GUI: 100%
Characters: 100%
Costumes: 85%
Backgrounds: 70%
CG: 50%

So you can see what I mean by how nice it would be to get those two wrapped up.

7) It should be noted that with everything going on this month, I worry about how the holidays will affect when the chapter will be released. I'll keep you informed but expect a later than normal release date in January just as a precaution. I have nothing officially written down in my schedule yet and I won't be making any estimates until later in the month when I've seen what's been done and what hasn't.
