Yeah when you kept mentioning that Carmy should just call the fridge guy I was internally screaming. I did for get how stressful these last episodes are just because of Carmy. 😩 I love the guy though.

That scene where Carmy is having a panic attack and has images of Claire and his family always made me think that because Claire is heavily tied to the family that she ends up being part of the chaos for him and his calm ends up being Syd, which is why he was able to calm himself once he pictured Sydney. She always levels him out.

There is so much symbolism in Forks with Love Story being used because Richie is learning to love himself and life again. Forks being used to help self displicine and get himself on track again vs the last episode where we saw Mike use them as self defense. Forks is such a great episode with so many layers and it's beyond beautiful. I think this episode was easily a turning point for many people including me on tolerating Richie as a character to loving him. And the fact that this show was able to do that in one single episode is crazy. Every second counts was def him realizing that its never too late to start over and find his purpose again. Will have to finish watching this reaction tomorrow and I can't wait to see how you feel about the rest of the season.

2024-07-27 03:17:00 +0000 UTCI will never get over how great this soundtrack is every episode. It’s awesome. Forks is one of my favorite episodes. It was so well placed right after Fishes. I didn’t realize it until rewatching with you that Ritchie was reading the book Unreasonable Hospitality whose author is a consultant on this show, but also I just finished reading that book like two months ago. So I’m now seeing that Chef Terry’s restaurant shares some similarities with Eleven Madison Park the restaurant that is featured heavily in that book. So cool.
