I felt the same as you about the first few songs that I just didn't connect with as much, but I love twenty somethings, dade county dreaming, dream girls, b.o.a.t., pretty when I cry, and june gloom. I could have done without some of the interludes, and would have preferred to have a few more songs (the album was so short!) I'm hoping for a deluxe album now that she's with Interscope. I'm not sure if I will be listening to the entire album on rotation like I have with her first three, but I'm glad that she's experimenting and feeling free. She said in interviews that these were entirely self written lyrics for the first time (not including the collab verses I assume). Love that for her.
