This episode was originally supposed to be Kuvira's backstory episode, but the writers weren't given the budget why Nickelodeon and were told to do a recap ep instead. This is why they used so much old footage, so they could save budget for the final episodes.

2023-10-09 00:38:43 +0000 UTCsadly ptsd and stuff like that can stay forever :( korra will probably have trauma for a long while and the way it’s shown is very realistic. i like that they didn’t just abandon it and she didn’t get better as soon as she took the metal out, shows that it wasn’t just the metal and she truly has severe ptsd and it takes a while to recover even a little bit. i just love this show sm. 🫶 also !! i do think the recap was needed to WATCH for a few reasons but i’ll explain that once you’re done with the show lol
