Added 2025-01-27 00:23:10 +0000 UTCSo, I was supposed to post yesterday, but I had wanted to get a real handle on how close we were to the Update’s release.
The good news is that we aren’t as far behind as I had previously thought. I am putting the finishing touches on scripts to make them easier for each other dev to add their magic to. So, to be clear, the slow-down was all my fault. Always blame the writer, especially when it is their fault.
The even better news is that once complete, it gets sent to our playtesters so they can try to break the game. Many of them are familiar with the previous game and know what we are trying to put together. That’s a blessing in disguise; they will be more nitpicky, but I want to make sure that the game we put out is enjoyable and playable for everyone downloading it.
After they are done, we'll know what, if anything, needs fixing before we release it into the wild.
