Added 2025-05-26 02:47:25 +0000 UTCWell, well, it looks like our Patreon members are cultivated individuals who wish to read something intellectually stimulating and informative hence, it is with great pleasure that I announce, "Buddhism: A Journey through History" by Donald Lopez Jr. as our next Required Reading!
It's a hefty book, but probably the last one you need to read to get a good grasp of Buddhism's historical contours and sociecological activity through the ages.
Matt is especially overjoyed about the result. For those new to the system: we will finish reading the book within a month or so, then record and post our review/discussion, and then schedule a follow-up chat aimed at facilitating Patreon members' opinions! So that will be in early July!
