Forthcoming Episodes
Added 2024-05-24 07:29:38 +0000 UTCJust wanted to give you guys a heads-up regarding the release schedule and what is coming next.
First, the Destiny: Right to Reply will be coming out on the main feed later today. You guys have likely heard it already but just to keep things clear.
Next up Decoding-wise is the philosopher Zizek... we have the content, we have the clips, but we have not been able to record yet due to some scheduling stuff. But Zizek is the next Decoding episode and will probably be out sometime next week.
We have recorded a discussion of the book we read for Decoding Academia's mini-book club: Dominion by Tom Holland. We think the discussion might be of broad interest so we will make this one accessible to everyone (and don't worry still doing a separate DA episode).
And we have also recorded a new supplemental material episode that we will edit and release next week. It's a doozy.
After Zizek, there will be a full-length Dr. K decoding and then a final academic (possibly Peter Turchin) and then we will be out of streamer and academic season and reviewing where to go next.

After listening to your Hitchens episode another figure no longer with us, and completely different in character, came to my mind, namely Alan Watts. Hundreds of hours of talks and lectures out there, so a lot of prep needed, but I'm sure that Chris would be equal to the task!
