Thought it would be a useful time to give an update on upcoming episode plans.
Next, as everyone probably already knows, we have the Gad Saad episode. It has taken a bit longer than expected not because Gad is an incredibly complex character but because Matt and I are snowed under with our real jobs at the minute.
After that we have a special treat, many people have been asking us to do a special episode on the Weinsteins, given all that has happened recently (Eric's threats aimed at critics, the shambles that was the Better Skeptics project, Yuri Deign's campaign against Bret, Sam Harris/Rebel Wisdom/Claire Lehmann et al. piling on, etc.). We agree that Weinstein World deserves some attention, so we are going to do a special episode dedicated to the brothers and recent events. But to help highlight the insanity we have arranged for a special guest, familiar in broad strokes with the Weinstein's but wisely ignorant of recent events, to join us for the discussion. If you have listened to an old Reply All Yes Yes No segment you probably get the idea. In any case, I won't spoil the surprise of the guest as I think it will be a magical surprise but it is someone many of you will know.
Sometime after both of those we are going to be putting the capstone on the James Lindsay & Michael O'Fallon series with another co-hosted episode with Aaron Rabinowitz from Embrace The Void. We will be covering the joint lecture series put out by James & O'Fallon, as well as an insane postscript episode released by O'Fallon announcing the danger of animal-human hybrids, the forthcoming transhumanist dystopia, and the launch of his daily news show.

I would be interested in a Charles Eisenstein or Zach Bush episode! Zach Bush falls more on the wellness/spiritual side of the guru spectrum, but I’d love to hear you two break down his long-winded, largely unintelligible and very verbose blathering, especially all the health quackery he’s been on about recently!

Since others are making suggestions: Can’t help but notice that outside of Taleb there’s a distinct lack of coverage of the heterodox economics/finance space. Would love to see coverage of someone like Ray Dalio (finance), or Steve Keen (economics).

The ultimate theory-of-everything galaxy brainiac, quite influential but as much for his own massive self-assurance and ego as anything else. Never wrote a book whose cover wasn’t a huge photo of himself. The only question is how you’d even begin, and what to focus on.
