Here is the follow up to the goopy Gwyneth Paltrow episode in which we fire up the Gurometer to scientifically quantify her guru essence.
I have a dream that I will edit this a bit and upload it as an inaugural episode for the Patreon bonus feed (which does not exist yet) but this version has no such quality of life edits... you get the full force of Matt's scuba diving stories.

I (Chris) had a similar arc with re: Lex. I saw him pop up a couple of times and thought he seemed sincere and relatively well informed. The hero worship of Rogan was a bit off-putting but well he's an idol for lots of people. Over time though I saw similar things to what you mention, especially on the interviews with Eric. I think he might know that Eric is 95% bullshit but enjoys the audience bump his appearances provide. Might be an interesting guy to cover at some point!

Was recommended to me by Youtube and at first it seemed like a cool guy doing interviews with researchers and that is probably what 50% of his content is. The rest seems to be fawning over his role models Joe Rogan, Eric and nodding along when they mentioned how academia has gone too corrupt. The episodes he has with Eric get more and more cringe. I think on the last episode he did with Eric he interviewed Eric's 15 year old son.

Oh and also: i hope you cover Ken Wilbur at some point, he would score off the charts on even just Galaxy Brain and Revolutionary Theorizing alone.
