Just Asking Questions (JAQing) about Anti-Vaxx

We decided to test out some video features by doing a test run 'short' video talking about the 'Just Asking Questions' technique with specific reference to a recent DarkHorse podcast on vaccine safety by Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying. Predictably, this 'short' test ended up almost an hour long... sorry!
Also, if you ever wanted to know what we look like, now you can!

2021-10-17 10:26:48 +0000 UTCThe discussion of shit-sandwich and something like Serial-position effect (I should get more accurate in describing cognitive biases, but, boy have they proliferated in the last 20-odd years!) was very cool -- I will look forward to seeing if you carry through with this as I progress in chronological order through the content. It is a little crazy how susceptible to some of these things we as humans seem to be -- and sometimes it seems benign -- "remember when giving feedback to start with something positive" -- but sometimes so dark -- insert Scott Adams talking about anything here (and of course all the pick-up "artists"). I have long wondered how/whether one can inoculate oneself to such things -- and also whether they really have so much power in the real world? The paranoid version would be that studying such effects would give one the equivalent to black magic -- or make one immune to it -- is this the case?

2021-10-17 10:11:52 +0000 UTCOK, this feels a bit like addictive behavior, now, as I dig back through all the scraps of varied content (always aware that there is more if I ascend the ranks of patrons - i.e., opt for one of the higher grades - right?) -- but even in this far corner you manage to produce something off-the-cuff that is actually worth listening to!
