Most variety shows in Korea the cast are going to be mostly men and they add 1 or 2 women to look pretty (most of the time), if they are not part of the comedian area. Since each person has a role or personality that people know them for they stick to it even for the love line. Each love line is created different, such as a public opinion, small moments (like Jong kook and the other woman, Idk her name, played the of course game, which he cover her ears creating his love line memorable) and things like that. For the love line with Song Ji Hyo there were some possibilities at the beginning that were shown, I am not sure if u remember them. It couldn't be Jae Suk or Suk Jin since they are married. Kwang Soo didnt make that many 'moves' toward her, he was more shy at the beginning and he made his character as more of a framing and betraying type of personality (which for him worked). Haha tried, but he made himself as a playboy type of guy (which later changed because he married). Jong Kook tried, but he wasn't that hasty about going through with it, since he has history with love lines that he is still being follow and tease about to this day, and he had the role of the mean and strong guy. Song Joonki and Gary were going for the love line with her. Joonki had the role of the youn man going for the older woman vibe. While Gary was new to variety shows and he needed to create a type of personality for himself quick, and the love line was there so went for it. In the beginning they were fighting for her attention, which were visible in some episodes. But then Joonki began to appear less because of schedules, and Gary step up to the spot throwing comments here and there. Joonki left and Gary got the love line with Ji Hyo. Even though she didn't want to be in one, she had to play a role in the show that people would love, so she went along with it. They created the love line with a twist, with Gary going for he while she would look like she didnt want to but would be there to choose him at the end (which added to the comedy aspect). This is my opinion on how the love line between them developed. I guess just extra info when she was creating some type of love line with Joonki, some of his fans began to throw hate at her, I am not sure with Gary's fans, but I guess that's another reason on why Gary was chosen.

The highlight of the episode is when she was tricked in the game 1vs9, where they had to call their friends over to the filming site. The staff actually acted as the friends of RM members and another guest.
