‘Comfortably’ here more translated as dropping the honorifics. It is like korean culture when they meet someone new to them, they called each other with -ssi at the end. For example ‘Jaesuk-ssi’ (which means ‘Mr. Jaesuk’). Then, dropping the honorifics is when they finally comfortable/close to eo, and usually used between friends and family, like ‘Jaesuk-ah’ or ‘Jaesuk hyung/oppa’ for someone younger than him.
