Cross-promotion with Fallen Eros

I’ve been meaning to do a cross-promotion with Fallen Eros for a while now. I really like the kinda retro aesthetic of his game. It’s a Netorase, not a pure NTR, but it’s still a very enjoyable read and I think Fallen Eros is very talented in what he does.

Story

A lighthearted visual novel about Netorase (Wife Sharing). Hana is a loving and understanding wife that realizes her husband fetish, and while Yuma, a young man, is staying at their home during college, she takes matters into her own hands. Her husband, our protagonist, anxious at first, realizes the pleasure of sharing his wife.

If you want to see more of Indecent Wife Hana—it just got updated today!—you can find Fallen Eros right here, on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/FallenEros

Btw. I also prefer netorare. My original point was only about the terminology - that Japanese term netorare encompasses both types. Of course everyone can categorise VNs as they like and I’m not trying to police them. 😉

I just point out that what original term Netorare. Just check Japanese Wikipedia page for Netorare (you can use chrome translate) - definition does include wife sharing. Of course you can be only into one specific experience and I never denied it. I just said that term netorare includes both willing and unwilling cheating, so netorase shouldn’t be called exact opposite.

Well DL-site might be the biggest store for VNs but it surely isnt the biggest database. Now we could argue which one stays above the other, I think this wont make any sense, in the end none have the final right on what certain words mean. But as with music gernres, borders between the genres are hard to draw. Especially because they are influencing each other at the same time. So something out of one genre gets pulled over to the other one. Like in the example you mentioned. Still the main difference between both genres, even if some devs and games and stories mix it all up, remains in my experience and therefor in my personal opinion. Most netorase games I have played are with the MC witnessing and acknowledging and even liking the important person to indulge in lewd stuff with somebody else, while in NTR the MCs do not like to see their partners cheating and thats why they never come to realize it or only later on - and then are shocked. It's the same with the term cuckolding. Here people actively share and enjoy watching their important ones beeing taken. NTR - and thats why I said opposite - never would want that. NTR lives out of the fact that the cheating is NOT wanted in the first place. And NTR makes use of this fact and plays with it in the different stories that are told. But maybe you made other experiences and thats why our opinion on this definition differs and that's totally fine. But maybe you understand now, why I said what I said. Cheers mate

I kindly disagree. DL-site, the biggest store with VNs, has a hundred categories, and category netorase doesn't even exist. Both netorase games and netorare games are in the same category. The term netorase caught up in the west thanks to the Marina Cuckolding Report, but anyone knowing Japanese knows that in both cases, it means the same cuckolding with just different inflection. Regarding Type A, B, and C, if you check VNDB forums, you will see that it's just arbitral categorization made up on the forums there, just to make tagging NTR games based on the amount of the rape easier. Type C doesn't even really makes sense in terms of Netorare because it implies that the heroine never breaks and is just simply raped but stays loyal. While the game above is really far from dark NTR games like the one above, other 'netorase' games are very close to NTR games like those made by HC, like Kabe no Mukou no Tsuma no Koe, where it starts with the husband's approval, but ends in a very dark spot.

very well said!

Finished through the public free version. A lot of text, CG was lackluster. It's not even 2 frame animations, it's like a picture story and a lot of text as Pete said. To elaborate a bit more, the story is your classic Netorase. Husband discovers fetish, wife is understanding and helps indulge in it. Starts tame but gradually escaltes as they push the boundaries further and further with the college guy they're taking care of. The plot is a very formulated structure, wife pushes line a bit, husband starts worrying if she betrayed him but is turned on nonetheless, they talk and wife tells husband that she was just teasing husband. Husband feels relieved and consents to push the line further. Rinse and repeat in a few different scenarios and that's about the game thus far. As a Netorase it wasn't bad, but definitely boring. This game felt very similar to other netorase stories i've stumbled across before. A bit disappointed that there is no wife perspective. The developer is developing 1 perspective at a time instead of doing it in parallel like HC does which is a bit annoying. The monthly updates are also very short compared to HC. (New update is about 1-6k words, while APBLU busts out 15k+ words per monthly update) Try it if you want, but I probably won't stick with it. It's missing the twisted knife in the gut feeling which is to be expected since it's not NTR.

It isnt a subgenre. NTR is all about the betrayal of love and the feeling of jealousy. NTR type A, B and C are subtypes of the genre. Netorase does not even count to the category relationship problems, its not about jealousy and betrayal but consensual acts. The only thing both genres share is that certain participants are having sex with others. If you are interestend read for yourself: NetoraRe: https://vndb.org/g513 NetoraSe: https://vndb.org/g1663 Though I gotta admit that the label 'complete' opposite goes a bit far. But a pure love romance is certainly also not the opposite because often love plays a major role in NTR as it is focus on the antagonists stealing the female LIs and conquering their heart by the use of lets say very unorthodox methods. ;-) After all definitions of the different genres are complex and there are no clear opposites, but it was good having the talks ;-)

Pete

Netorase is not the complete opposite of NTR. It's a subgenre of NTR. Pure-love romance where the heroine is completely devoted to the protagonist would be the complete opposite of NTR.

reeeally not a fan of this game and of how the dev works. Also imo it's a game with a very lame, vanilla story, very much text based, there are good CGs but literally only one for a whole scene without any movement. And there are not many scenes... also it's Netorase, which is - even though the similar names suggest something different - the complete opposite to NTR. But I guess as long as it serves you HC..
