Hello! I’m still here and kicking, despite all the everything. And though it took me much longer than I wanted for various reasons, I have a new video today.

For those who have been following my work for a while, I doubt much of the information in here is new. But I have noticed an increasing number of folks getting very worried about their energy use… while also not really understanding it at all. Part of what took me so long when making this video is that I kept making revision after revision - this topic clicks so neatly in my mind that it took a lot of work to step outside of what’s intuitive for me. And since I’ve never made a video specifically exploring energy, it felt like an important topic. If nothing else, I hope some of the comparisons I made here add something new to how you might think about energy.

Now, I both want and need to update you on what’s in the works next but I will probably wait to do that until Monday. This weekend I want to honest-to-goodness figure out and test my live-streaming setup. An embarrassing degree of procrastination is the main reason that’s never happened. I’d like to make that something of a regular affair for Patreon - something like a hang-out, AMA type deal.

OK then, well, since this is a longer one it’s going to take me some time to do captions. That will probably be my project tomorrow so apologies to those who rely on them. I’ll get the script pasted into YouTube which makes them better but I really, really can’t stand how the captioning system handles the timings from a script…
