Howdy Folks - A Holiday Update

I'm plugging away at Pinball Part 2. I was hoping to have that done by, maybe, tomorrow? Last year I released the sound-on-film video on Christmas day and I thought it would be fun to make that a tradition. Well... yeah that ain't happening this year. I'm pretty far along in the edit, but I have I'd say 12 hours of work left - and I won't force myself to work through the next few days. I'll be spending time with family and hope you all can do the same!
But!
I have the keys to the new office
That's right, since my lease starts on New Year's Day, the landlord decided that he might as well just give the keys to me now. The old tenant is gone, and I'm happy to say that they've mostly left it ready-to-go. Now, getting it this early was a surprise - I have begun prepping for the move but internet's not getting installed there until the first week of January, and my actual moving plans are happening the same week, too. So for now, aside from moving some of the smaller stuff in there, there's not much I can really do with it.
I will absolutely be giving y'all a video tour when I can. I'm very, very excited to start making videos there and I already have some ideas for projects that are only possible due to the new space!
You'll be hearing from me again before the end of the year (pinball part 2 will definitely be released between Christmas and New Years) but since this will probably be my last post until Christmas, for those who celebrate - Merry Christmas!
And to all - thank you so much. I'm thinking 2024 will be pretty dang cool.

On of my favorite You tubers moved out of a rented space to spend more time at home. Back to the garage for him, but he did add some nice features like a mini split/heatpump and had the garage wired and painted and had the floor redone.

2023-12-27 22:35:35 +0000 UTCWell, you're a person, and you've said it. I'm pretty sure I've heard at least one other person say it. So, yes, clearly people do. I think most of us just don't have that much confidence that we have good tidings, given the way things are going in the world today.
