Mice Tea Feedback Update

Hello Everyone,

I want to thank you all so much for all the wonderful feedback you've given us from playing the demo.  Whether it was given via direct communication or through the survey, your criticism has been wonderful to read and act upon. We should have done this much sooner!

When Gunzil and I first started this project, it was meant to take maybe a month or two, just acting as a little exercise in the realm of creating a visual novel. However, after receiving your feedback we realized we can't treat Mice Tea with flippancy. That means we're giving the story the whole chop/screw/remix to be fully featured with game play choices and fleshed out characters. This will put Mice Tea on a longer development timeline.

Does this mean monthly pinups are going away? Not at all, but I will need some time to determine how best to modify my campaign to have a balance of both.

Now, here are some changes we are making in response to your feedback:

• Margaret will be aware of the changes happening to her, and they will happen in more interesting situations other than while reading.
• Felix was really creepy! This was completely unintended and we're working to make him more of a friendly/interesting/possible-love-interest-y character.
• There were a LOT of reading scenes which were too long and distracted from the main draw of the story, which should be the characters and their experiences (transformation or no).
• We're going to have any amount of choice in future builds. Not having game play choices made more sense when the project was meant to be 5 minutes long. Now that we're lengthening the story, choices are naturally going to be a part of it, as no visual novel would be complete without them.
