Lots of carrion vibes with this, I'll definitely be pushing into the slime tentacle/arm/spike direction with this over a more muscle based approach which will help to keep this and the gibbering mouther visually separate. It can also change form at will so having any set structure is pretty pointless.
I'll start making a mess with basic tentacles and see if we can get some cool looking shapes to refine.
