Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is a freaking TRIP-AND-A-HALF - especially if you know all about Charlie Manson. "Chaos: Charles Manson, the CIA, and the Secret History of the Sixties" a very recent book by journalists Dan Piepenbring and Tom O'Neil tells the REAL story of Charlie Manson. You will read there that D.A. Vincent Bugliosi, who wrote HELTER SKELTER, the bestselling book that created the current myth about Manson, which is far far darker than Vincent would let on. Consider this: Before the mansion family decamped for Southern California - Manson had been released from most of his life in prison just as the young runaway hippie wannabes invaded the Haight Ashbury (where I lived, btw) and he loaded up a bunch of girls on tons of LSD and warped their already out-of-work minds. That much we knew already. BUT - did you know of the CIA's huge decades long MK-ULTRA (look it up on wikipedia, if you must)? Did you realize that CIA doctors were working at the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic in order to keep tabs on the hippie anti-war movement? Did you know that Charlie and the girls spent only a year in the Haight, and spending a lot of time at the Free Clinic? Can you put 2 and 2 together? Fun fact: The CIA boasts that anyone can commit a murder, but only the CIA can commit a suicide. Talk about gallows humor!!! Your tax dollars at work! [P.S. Feel free to dismiss all of the above as the ranting of a raving lunatic. I resemble that remark!]

If we watch Kill Bill 1, we’ll definitely watch/react to the second right after so we don’t forget anything we just watched! I don’t know a single thing about Four Rooms so I’m pretty excited to find out what it’s about. I’m honestly really excited for all the Tarantino films because the casting looks great every time, and that’s all I can go off of for now haha! - Gabi

I really can’t wait to watch it, and I just realized the actress that played Mia Wallace in Pulp Fiction also plays the main character in Kill Bill, so that just made me even more excited to experience Kill Bill for the first time! - Gabi
