As a 50+ year-old guy, who didn't discover a path to feeling like I belonged anywhere until later in life, I just want to encourage you on your path, whatever it is. My sense of worth (not financial) and individuality has blossomed over the decades. Every decade brings a better sense of who I am, as well as a better sense of the people who matter, valuing that same person. I think what you two are doing is a great show of humanity, and your audience is seeing it, and that does matter. Alrighty, hitting "play"! :)
