Bran is returning from the Heros Clan, where he had hoped to quietly take his initiation and reap plentiful rewards. However, Bran’s life always seemed to have twists and turns, and instead he ended up turning the whole clan upside down.

First, his trip into the instance did not go as planned. He ended up killing the clan’s ancient leach that was pretending to be a crimson dragon and was part of the clan’s founding. That set off a reaction in which the instance’s level suppression broke and everyone inside was in danger as the monster levels climbed past what they were able to handle.

Bran soaked up every advantage he could get only to step out far more powerful than the average initiate. He’d already caught the attention of the Odyssey branch of the clan and its head, Circe, but now he had her full focus as he joined her for protection along with Nyx, whose class and bloodline turned into a gorgon.

He wasn’t done yet with the clan, as his curiosity for the Tartarus branch caused him to look deeper, discovering demon activity within the clan.

At the same time, he was busy with his new Mythic grade bloodline, Primordial Titan, and solving the growing problem that came with each Titan bloodline. Only after condensing his sudden growth spurt into a Titan Physique could Bran breath easy.

But during his trials, the demons attacked, revealing the information that Bran had been missing in his past life. He had never known what had happened to Tartarus. Had they turned on the clan? Had they given up?

It turned out that the Tartarus branch of the Heros Clan was hidden using one of the demon’s Hell Gate Anchors. The device was used during the first demon war, telling Bran that in his past life the branch had been wiped out.

It wasn’t easy, but with Persephone’s reluctant assistance, they were able to enter Tartarus, save the branch and extract the anchor.

Now, Bran was headed back to Vein City with Simone, Circe and Nyx as well as a few other tag-alongs.

But now Bran would have to deal with other loose threads he had left when he went to initiate into the clan. Vincent, a board member of North Trust, a secretive initiated bank, that Bran had met during his inscription business, had been hounding Gloria for Bran’s location so that he could open up a vault that Bran knew shouldn’t be opened.
