Patreon Update 02-01-24

Hey everyone!

Things are going well over here. Doctor visits are slowing down and I'm getting into a rhythm. Sleep is still a little scarce, most days I'm running on 6-7 hours and my writing productivity can feel it at times.

Still, I'm plugging away. My buffer is quite small at this point, but with Patreon nipping at my heels is keeping me from taking a lazy day.

So, that's a long winded way of saying we'll be sticking to 6 ch/week until the kid goes to Daycare/sleeps through the night. I'm planning on April at present. Anything before that and I'll just work on my buffer.

Ard's Oath 3 is up next. I just wrote out all of the plot threads that I have in mind for the story and feel like once again I have a ton on deck. I'm excited to share it with you.

I have big plans for Ard and Cyam along with following cracking open the world in book 2, using Izzy during this book and a big surprise for her at the end. Of course, Maribelle is getting restless and Aurelia needs to figure her shit out.

Finally, I'm excited for the group to return to the capital with a bang. I've made Carmilla someone we can all love to hate, so that'll be fun.

The itch to write something new hit me hard at the end of Dungeon Diving, but I don't have the time for it. I have had ideas from a evil cultivation, to reincarnation isekai, to OP Farming, competing for headspace the last few days.

I think the reincarnation will end up being my next series. Sadly, Evil isn't quite my brand. OP Farming is such an interesting trend and while I might write it one day, right now I don't really want to hop on the back of the bandwagon.

Audio is chugging along. I might end up missing a few months this year as I have gotten fairly caught up and took these two months off. Going to keep Jessica Threet and Chris/Jack busy with some rerecords. I contracted a certain volume so that I can have them on hand for my newest books in a timely manner. That and Rozelyn and Lewis just have produced a deluge of complaints. That paired with some things I see on the sales/review number front will make me move away from them.

I'll probably pair that with a move to Royal Guard Publishing, which we'll see how that works. The data backend of Audible is a giant tangled knot. I'm not even sure audible knows what input creates what output at this point.

Webcomic is getting there. A few 'last' steps have elongated themselves. My studio and Voyce.me were doing some negotiations that have caused some delays. They are doing a bulk publishing deal that my adaption will be part of along with about a dozen others from the studio throughout the next year.

Everything is just moving along slowly while I try and get my chapter a day and prioritize sleep.
