Hi Everyone,

Things are going well. I just finished the edits for DD 104 last night. Totaled out at about 11k words added with the last pass. A little under 10% added, but I think it was all necessary.

Shipped it off to an editing service that does 24 hour turn around. They split the project down and have a team edit it. Not something I normally like to use, but we do what we must to make our deadlines.

For those of you curious what you’ll see change, most us it up until the Underroot plotline is unchanged with maybe some slight alteration to language. After the Underroot there are some additional scenes and we moved Crimson’s scene so it makes a little more sense.

Anyway, we see Duke Selmia’s trial, go on a date with Elysara and the younger Duke makes a public plea that forces Elysara to meet him and spark up some conflict with Ken.

There’s some more interaction between Ken and the younger Duke Selmia sprinkled in. The mission after they return from the Nekorian trip is shored up to make a little more sense and dive into Ken’s head more, then there are two additional scenes after the failure of the mission and before the wedding along with giving Ken some more agency during the wedding.

All in all, I’m happy with the changes.

I’m also excited to get back to Ard’s Oath 2. I paused at chapter 11 and getting back to it now, Ard is fun to write because you don’t exactly have to be correct, just ostentatious and a little nosy.

We’ve met the mother and kicked off the plot line I have planned for her while intertwining it in a few others. In the planning for Ard’s Oath 2, my biggest problem was that I had too much content on the deck for the book, so I need to get cracking and churn out some chapters, but it is flowing well.

At this point, I’m basically planning to write/edit Ard’s Oath all the way up to the 7th. Then join my wife in the hospital for kid #2. Of course he’s going to be compliant like that, right? Right?

With the kid and being behind, my focus is really just on getting Ard’s Oath out. Q4 is probably 50% of my sales for the year, so I’m fairly motivated on getting the book out and I have time, just will probably use a last minute editing service again and eating into next month’s cycle.

It is looking like Dec might be more of a skip month than the non-harem book I had planned. I’ll dabble, but for Patreon, my current plan is to switch you all over to DD201 after Ard’s Oath 2.

If I do cook anything else up between them, you likely won’t see it until later. 

As for other projects, they are getting pushed a little to the back burner with some stress I’m under.

Ard’s Oath has been switched to Jessica Threet and she tells me that Jack is unavailable and she’ll do it with Chris Boucher. DD 104 and Dragon 9 are scheduled to be recorded this month and whichever one lands in my lap first will get setup for December 9th. The other for Jan 9th.

I’m making a move away from Rozelyn and Lewis, they still have Dungeon though at present. In working with Jessica we are going to try and rotate through several of their troupe's available male narrators to give some difference between the series, but all of you tell me that you love Jessica and she’s easy for me to work with. So, she’ll stick around for the female voices.

Webcomics are moving through pre-production. It’s a long process, sorry.

SSV comic is sort of moving along, no dates at present that I can commit to. But there’s a lot of new cover art and I’ve been trialing more American styled comic artists.

Oh! Also, I’m going to be re-uploading some art that has been deleted from the prior months. I’ve gone back and forth on the idea that the art is semi-exclusive for those who were subbed at the time, yet there are always tons of request for prior artworks in my inbox, I’m just going to put them all back up and let you all enjoy.
