Idk if you're curious but the dad actually says "bishoujo" which means beautiful girl and "kawaii ko" where "kawaii" means cute/pretty and "ko" means kid/young girl in Japanese. This is why sometimes I don't like the English Dub because they will take liberties translating certain words and even whole phrases that can make things sound different. Although it's rare.
