Demon's Throne - Vallis Cover

I'll be releasing an omnibus of the first 3 Demon's Throne books shortly. Given my plan is to have DT4 out around mid-year (the plan was earlier, but it is what it is), this should give the omnibus time to get some reviews and advertising a little momentum to remind people the series exists. Or maybe it's a terrible idea and I should wait until closer to release - honestly, I don't really know. I don't really do them.
Vallis finally gets a cover despite being a Book 1 girl, and literally the first girl. She has a funny history, in many ways. For one thing, she was meant to be the Book 3 cover girl. Unfortunately, my then artist (who is different to my current artist, jiuge) drew something way off-base, my attempts to get him to correct the sketch didn't work, so I played into it and made her Ariel (the only time I've ever had a cover go quite so poorly tbh). This cover wasn't intended to be a 1:1 redo, as I originally wanted Vallis sitting on the arm of the throne but it basically ended up that way. (This cover being so... basic also spurred my current artist to ask for more dynamic poses).
Demon's Throne unfortunately has a weird reception in general. It's a series I have a soft spot for, given my past with it. It also has some big fans, some of which badger me every five seconds about it and make their disinterest in my newer series very clear. On the other hand, the opposite also applies. Demon's Throne is the only series where I regularly get told to just drop it and it has a level of antipathy thrown its way.
The series will get done, but I suspect I'm going to have to force myself to finish it like I did Spellblade. In a big bang.

Personally I started with DT and your world building is what kept me going with the series. I'm a sucker for a rise to God hood character. Mob has caught me the same way, hopefully you don't feel "forced" to finish any of your works cause you are a damn good writer and your talent shows.

Either way, looking forward to more of your work. Even the ones I like the least of your catalog are miles better than the best a lot of other authors can produce (faster or slower) Keep up the good work and you have a supporter in me for years to come ^^

As a avid reader I want to look for a good series that's gonna last a while so I'll want that next book after I read the first 3. That's just my thoughts. Thanks for all the amazing work! Don't let anyone telling you negative things get you! You make some actual good work, not just in a herem-lit. sense but in general you make good stories don't forget that please! Thanks for everything!
