Lowlife Enforcer - Character Popularity Poll
Added 2023-06-04 12:00:05 +0000 UTCSo I planned this to be a first girl poll, and it kind of is, but I saw a comment expressing concern about a binding vote like this (and it's not the first concern raised) and a few people seem to be supporting it through likes. So instead I'll just do a popularity poll on the female characters introduced so far. I've actually written past when the first sex scene should happen (and picked a girl), but I'm still willing to rewrite it.
The results here may influence the first girl if they deviate massively from my expectations. E.g. if the character I've chosen is unpopular, I'll rewrite stuff. It can also influence how I'll approach the other characters in terms of harem, as well as whether I think I need to "shore up" any relationships or characters. Pretty much everyone has failings in this story, so it's hard to tell who people like or dislike.
This also might affect covers in the future, as the cast won't expand that fast.
I'm also limiting the characters involved. Alessia won't realistically do anything with Vince for a while, and the same goes with Ally.
You can vote for more than character, but try to pick no more than 2 or 3.
Written opinions on the characters are welcome as well.

I actually agree. I was mostly shitposting, but I think I need to work on the written form of that. Edit: Nina is still my vote BTW and I'm happy that seems to be the opinion of most.

Nina pushing for a harem because of a lion pride building instinct would be funny. I really like Nicki but there are some minor issues such as their long term working situation still being in the air, that and all the dangerous and powerful women circling like sharks. Any of the wolves need the job to progress. I like Ally but I feel like her romance needs to be in a future book focused on a plot line involving her more directly.

2023-06-04 19:20:31 +0000 UTCI think as far as order, Nina makes the most sense for first. Besides the existing relationship between the two, it feels like she's the one that would push for a harem. Fia just feels like the natural one to follow Nina to me, and Fia then drags Nicki in. I feel like Pola should follow Alessia, that Pola's problems run deep and she'll need that push of Alessia being first for a relationship involving emotions.

Only reason I also voted for Fia is because it might take someone else getting him first to push Nina into demanding Vince take her seriously--and would prevent her from being able to shut everyone else out as she selfishly keeps Vince to herself.

Nina makes the most sense at this point to be first girl, and I look forward to seeing her interactions with Pola and the other wolves because that tension will be lots of fun. Also voting for Alessia because she's my favourite but I'm just along for the ride for that one to develop over the long game.

2023-06-04 12:59:01 +0000 UTCI think Fia would be the most interesting choice to start with. She has her vices but it seems like Vince, even if he can be hot headed at times, would be good for her. Example: less nights getting quite as plastered with the capos if she's with Vince sometimes. I'm a sucker for the red eyes too I have to admit.
