Neural Wraith is Live

My newest series has just gone up on Amazon. Neural Wraith is a cyberpunk harem adventure with lots of robot girls, a deeply corrupted world, and plenty of mysteries to unravel.

Grab it from Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B3VYN77F

Reviews and shares will be hugely appreciated. This isn’t a fantasy book, so if you enjoy it and leave a review, you will likely have a bigger impact on the algorithm than usual. Amazon relies on a lot on reviews when it recommends books, especially five-star reviews.

I expect this to be a rougher release than usual. Harem has very clear genre (and trope) preferences, and while I've lowered my expectations I'm still concerned. This is a busy period and I know a lot of people will find easy reasons to pick up a much more familiar book. A huge thanks to those who support me and leave reviews, as always.

EDIT: I forgot to say what's different from the patreon chapters. The big change is that there's a new ending chapter and some updates to the final confrontation. There are also lots of smaller changes throughout the entire book that are too small to list. Also, the Rie sex scene is added in ch25.

As for the book itself, this is still my usual style but also a departure from my usual fantasy fare. On Patreon, I mentioned this was “a book for me” to regenerate my creative juices after writing so much fantasy over the past couple of years. Neural Wraith has been a ton of fun to write, and I think you’ll really enjoy reading it, exploring its world, and meeting the wide cast of characters.

The focus is much narrower and deeper here. The stakes are lower, but also more relatable. People who prefer a smaller, more intimate cast of characters should be happier. The protag, Nick, is confident and sharp, but reliant on the expertise of his powerful robot subordinates. The world is something I focused a lot on, and while it’s still very cyberpunk, I’ve tried to add my own flair to it. I also didn’t make the book too long, and it’s a comfortable length, in my opinion.

For now, I’ve planned the series as a trilogy. Cyberpunk and sci-fi aren’t hugely popular in harem, so I’m not making grandiose plans yet, even if I love this series.

As for audiobooks, I imagine a lot of people will be happy to hear that Podium is publishing the series. Yes, that means it will be on Audible. I expect to go with a solo female narrator like with Heretic Spellblade.

I’ll be jumping straight into Heretic Spellblade 5 now. You can expect to see chapters for that up on Patreon by the weekend.

Finally, if you spot any typos or other mistakes in the new book (or any other book), please let me know about them using the anonymous form below. This allows me to quickly fix them and improve the experience for later readers. Thanks!

Read&Reviewed. Waited for the release to try your new series. Man, that was fun. Now I need to get ready for work after 3 hours of sleep damn you XD

I am early in the book right now but the additional information in the live version vs the wip chapters is amazing. Book was already good but this live version is excellent.

Fair enough. Thanks.

Honestly, I don't know. The way KU borrows are calculated is a black box, although we know that it does count toward the algorithm. I'd say just read the book the way you prefer.

I typically read things on launch on KU then buy them the next month if I really enjoy them to maximize the cut an author receives. For something less algorithm friendly like this, do you know if an actual sale on release helps it get promoted better?

I tend to really like cyberpunk (or just scifi in general) so I'm excited for this read.
