DT2 - Cover

It's Mina. Definitely more skin on show than many of my other covers. I also put up a side-by-side of both covers.

As you can tell (and as Messengers already know), I've changed artists for Demon's Throne. Everybody knows Caterina, and I intend to have her continue to do the covers for Heretic Spellblade - I absolutely adore the covers she has done for that series.

With that said, I do like my new artist. I'm a huge fan of detailed 2D art, and one of the things I like about the genre are the illustrated covers. Also, my new artist also excels at Asian faces, and there are a few of those in Demon's Throne due to its "clash of cultures" theme in the archipelago.

I anticipate some mixed reception to this, particularly given it has a strong Japanese aesthetic and more "anime"-ish look, but I love the cover. As I've mentioned before (multiple times), Demon's Throne is partly a passion project, so I splashed out a bit on covers and I have 5 from my new artist that I'm happy with.

Finally, Mina gets the cover because I like her. You're probably sick of me saying that by now.
