The text might be slightly tweaked, but otherwise the cover is final.
Fei is the cover girl for Heretic Spellblade 3. It's about time the series mascot got one, and I'm super happy with it. She should have been on Book 1, but due to the way the series came about, Vera got that cover.
One of the little details that I really like about this cover is that the gems finally appear. The artist did a couple of versions of them (one looked downright creepy, which worked tbh).
Also, there are a lot of things to appreciate about Fei. I've been slacking a bit about commissioning art of my characters outside of covers, because hunting down artists takes up time (hint, hint), but it's always great to see them brought to life so well.
For those curious about future covers, Ciana will be on Book 4, and Vala (one of the original trigems who hasn't shown up yet) will get Book 5. Book 6's cover girl is a secret.
Chapters will resume tomorrow. I'll also post a map of Doumahr next week, but it won't interrupt the schedule.
