This is the second installment of my series where I retell real dreams I had

I'll be honest, the reason this took me so long is because the images I made kept generating such funny scenarios. Half of them were not at all what I was looking for..but who doesn't want a giant squirrel wearing a tie??

This dream started off with statues coming alive. The first one I saw, I was standing outdoors in a park and a massive squirrel statue started to move and rip trees out of the ground. Obviously I started running, because holy hell there's a giant squirrel destroying the city.

I run into this building which looks like a gym of some sort and all the people are unbothered doing some step aerobics like it's the 80s. Clearly they don't see the chaos going on outside and I don't want to cause mass panic. I need to escape quietly before everyone else realizes the danger (which, oof survival instincts kicked in here. sucks to be those strangers I didn't tell to leave).

So I get down on the floor and start quietly crawling through the back of the room to get to the basement stairwell. After running down the stairs I find a ladder that leads out the back of the building.

When I get outside there's a ton of living statues stomping around, wrecking everything in their path. I continue to flee the city, and I didn't die this time thankfully. I hate when I die in the dream. I think a fitting end for this one is Squirrel-nado™ which was an accidental image creation but an amazing summary of this dream.
