I would classify works I do into one of two buckets. There are the pieces I do where I am intentionally practicing something or trying to mess with some brushes or figure something out. Then there are the pieces I do where I try and put it all together and take a bit of extra time to detail things a bit better.
I’ve been working on Fey’s(That’s her name) design now for the last month. I’ve also been messing with brushes, backgrounds, and different lighting techniques. This would be the piece where I’ve tried to put it all together and ultimately, I’m very happy with how it’s come out.
For the next few months, I’ll be following a similar formula. I have 4 OC’s I have loosely planned out that I need to design. They all exist in different environments which will give me a chance to practice different types of structures and eco systems. The goal here is to up my skill, and create some characters I can use in pinups, short stories etc…
I’ll be doing another post summarizing up the month, and what the plan is going forward. I also have to do an art dump of all the high res pieces from this month as well as post a bunch of time lapses from pieces I’ve done.
That’ll all be in the coming days.
As always thanks for all the support! I never expected to get this far in my first month!
