...and the winner for most toxic red flag girlfriend of the year goes to (drum roll) Seoji/ Jimin. I don't care what you're going through, if you love someone, you don't let them suffer and worry this much about you. One text telling them you're safe and okay is all it takes. One lousy text, and she couldn't even do that.

Well hopefully while it would be bad for the ex to answer, I think she probably explained something was up and that she was making sure Jimin wasn't alone while drinking. Jimin will definitely have explaining to do in the morning, but I don't believe this is the end for them.

2026-01-14 22:23:30 +0000 UTCGuys, dumplone didn’t even update webtoon on December 20… I think it’s over now. I still hope for the story to continue, as it’s my comfort gl. Honestly, my biggest obsession. I don’t know how I’d react if it was actually being discontinued, I’d probably have a hard time accepting it, but I’d have to eventually… I don’t know how to express what Ruthless means to me. Somehow episodes would always be uploaded when I needed them the most, this story simply makes me happy. It makes me feel safe. It probably sounds ridiculous, but it’s true. God, I miss Ruthless. Let’s just hope we get an update soon…

Really, really hope you’re ok. Will understand if you haven’t been able to complete episode for some reason. Same if you’ve decided to end. Will be greatly saddened if Ruthless has reached its conclusion. That’s your decision of course. Once again, can’t sufficiently express my gratitude for your work.

In season 1, after Seoji gets wasted at the party in her apartment, she pushes Sera away and starts bringing people to her apartment for promiscuous sex. At least that’s what Sera believes. Seoji isn’t having sex but wishes she could. She wants to return to what she was before, the school slut, promiscuous without feelings for her partners. No relationships. In season 2, on her birthday, she won’t explain her feelings to Sera. She leaves with her ex girlfriend and goes bar hopping. She sees Yuiji tell her girlfriend where she is and who she’s with. Seoji knows she should talk to Sera but doesn’t. When she finally goes home, she sees Sera waiting for her. She doesn’t attempt to talk to Sera. She locks her bedroom door and goes to bed. Locking her door is more than pushing Sera away, it is telling Sera she doesn’t want her in her life. In both of these instances, Seoji isn’t worried about Sera’s feelings. She’s only worried about being in trouble. Does Seoji love Sera? No.

Yujin is proof that you can mature, so I'm glad she's that type of person to respect her partner today. I hope she told Sera what was going on when she answered. Your ex answering your phone while you've disappeared out - not a good look.
