I'm catching up after being gone for the last few weeks, and based on what I'm reading (the next chapter is up now), this was not Sera's doing AT ALL. This girl is clingy and obviously injuring herself to see Sera in the infirmary, because she's too afraid from the other girls, to approach Sera outside of the Nurse's office. I can already see where she is taking Sera's niceness towards her as something more...wanting it to be more than what it is, when it's just called being friendly. She was such an outcast, someone just showing her attention like Sera could easily be taken the wrong way, and turn into being delusional (not to sound harsh, but her mental state obviously was weak, and she was desperate for connection). A lot of times, that can turn into a "fatal attraction" even if the other person feels it's purely platonic.
