Joan of Arc - Heroine or Heretic? - Extra History - #5

Joan had been sold out to the English. Bishop Pierre Cauchon was determined to prove the inaccuracy of her visions and her motivations so that Charles could have no claim to the throne. But Joan held on to the bitter end.

Oo, I would play that!

I really, really want a Kingdom Come: Deliverance-esque video game where you go through the story of Joan of Arc. Not play her; just play 'Page X' who rides along through the whole thing, maybe even battling between faith and skepticism along the way. It's a story that not only feels like it's been pulled from a game already, but it might be the best way to experience and understand a story like this.

Drop Dead Studios

Since we were dropping an extra-Extra History today (Thursday) we decided to get this one out a wee bit earlier for less competition ;) Also, Matt is just THE most excellent producer, and has significantly improved efficiency to our whole video schedule so that, most of the time we are at least 1 week ahead on each individual show, if not 2-3 weeks for some shows/series.

Don't you be touching my waifu! *Burned at the stake* :.[

First let me Tell you whom you condemned: not me begotten of a Shepherd swain, but issued from the progeny of Kings, virtuous and holy, chosen from above, by inspiration of celestial grace to Work exceeding Miracles on Earth. I never had to do with wicked Spirits but you, that are polluted with your lusts, stained with the guiltless Blood of Innocents, Corrupt and Tainted with a Thousand Vices becase you want the Grace that others have, you Judge it a straight thing impossible to compass wonders but by the help of Devils. No, misconciev'd Joan of Arc hath been a Virgin from her tender infancy, chaste and immaculate in very thought, whose Maiden Blood, thus rigorously effused will cry for Vengeance at the Gates of Heav'n. That's One Hell of an Exit. By the way, Miss Of Arc, when you were captured by the Burgundians, did anyone shout, "We've found a Witch! May we Burn her?"

Martin Verran

I feel like these are getting earlier and earlier. Not that I'm complaining, mind you.
