2018-12-07 00:59:50 +0000 UTCMy family came from Poland before WW1 broke out so I've never felt particularly Polish. But watching this does give me a tingle of pride to know I'm from a country that can lose all of its land and still carry on in the hearts of its people.

2018-12-01 19:00:30 +0000 UTCI guess it depends on your perspective, Polish maps have referred to the city as Gdańsk for a long time, but you are right the most Western maps always refer to it as Danzig. I just think that since the city has been part of Poland since 1466 it should be called by its Polish name.
