Try finding at least one to not vote for; even if you love all of them, and even if you can't pick a favorite...

2017-06-01 06:10:42 +0000 UTCEven if you can't pick a favorite, and even if they all look good, I would still try to see if at least one of them not to vote for; otherwise, yeah it pretty much does make the vote meaningless.
Brian Rose
2017-06-01 06:08:07 +0000 UTCWell no it doesn't. It's basically because we cannot choose a Favourite out of this lot, hence the decision to Vote for all of them.

2017-05-31 07:55:02 +0000 UTCI need a moment to think about this. I don't really know anything about any of these and they're all well off the beaten path, which makes them interesting and worthwhile as far as I'm concerned. I think I might skip Boleslav since early medieval kingdom founders generally interest me less than late medieval and renaissance state builders. Probably just my modern day bias speaking and not understanding the greatness of medieval kingdoms.

2017-05-30 22:12:03 +0000 UTCI do remember that! It's why I kind of don't want him to win (see comment below)

2017-05-30 20:09:10 +0000 UTCJust going by a glance at Wikipedia, I think focusing on the 12th and/or 13th Centuries would be a good place to start.

2017-05-30 20:05:57 +0000 UTCAs cool as he may be, I'm kind of hoping Khosrow doesn't win, since he was already touched on back in the Justinian and Theodora series; other parts of history (like Poland and Southest Asia) need love too.

2017-05-30 20:04:13 +0000 UTCYou guys do realize voting for everyone makes your vote meaningless?

2017-05-30 19:20:18 +0000 UTCDon't know any of these people, but the title "A Master Class in Trolling" has my interest piqued.

2017-05-30 17:10:26 +0000 UTCKhosrow is too close to Europe for my tastes. I'd worry about having another Suleiman situation on our hands, with the crew writing about a non-European from a decidedly Eurocentric POV. With the Khmer Empire, there's less of a risk of that happening.

2017-05-30 17:03:53 +0000 UTCMan, it's really a tight matchup between Khosrow and the Khmer. Literally 1 vote away from each other by the time I voted.

2017-05-30 16:59:54 +0000 UTCAs much as Khostow sounds awesome, here's hoping on going a bit further afield.

2017-05-30 13:00:28 +0000 UTCI guess I'm just still too salty over Emperor Valerian to vote for the Sassanids

2017-05-30 10:51:47 +0000 UTCHmm, such a great choice. I think I'll vote for all of them and hope we get a four way tie! Sorry, EC, but we really want all of them!

2017-05-30 09:20:09 +0000 UTCSo too did I, because hopefully that way I will avoid the disappointment of backing the losing Horse again. [again I don't mean my real Horse; old Dolly is a bit long in the Tooth now and does everything in One of Three speeds: Slow, slower, and stop. It's an expression.] That and I've really wanted an Indian Extra History since I joined Patreon. It's a pity I didn't get around to updating my PURR-ledge in the End. 😉

2017-05-30 08:35:08 +0000 UTCFor once I voted for ALL OF THEM.

2017-05-30 04:35:27 +0000 UTCI'm still surprised that Fredrick der Grosse (Fredrick the Second)of Prussia is still being passed over, but someone being called 'The Grand Old Man of India' sounds VERY interesting to say the least.

2017-05-30 04:02:41 +0000 UTCMan. This one's hard. I think for the first time I'm actually going "All of them!"

2017-05-30 02:29:41 +0000 UTCKhosrow really does deserve his own series. Here's to the philosopher king!
