A few PC photos, possible because of you all!
Added 2021-10-18 20:31:34 +0000 UTCThanks again for your support in what we do here. Because of you guys I was able to afford an upgrade on me PC from the 4770k that it was running to a 10400.
Old PC:
I7 4770k 4c/8t, 3.5ghz base 3.7ghz boost
Noctua NHD-14
Gigabyte G1 sniper M5 motherboard
32gb ddr3 crucial ballistix ram 1333mhz
New PC:
I5 10400 6c/12t, 2.9ghz base 4.3ghz boost
Hyper 212 Evo (because it doesn't need more)
Msi mpg z490 gaming edge wifi motherboard
32gb ddr4 silicon power ram. 3200mhz CL16
So yeah, way more better and a 6 generational leap. Spent less than $400 on it all. And yes, the math doesn't line up for patrons to cover it all, but it's not y'all's job to do that. This just helps me to show that yes, we have support, and people that can help us grow. That computer was not an easy purchase but with the 4770k getting really testy, it made sense. The 10400 is clearly not the best CPU out there, but it runs great. Was streaming to discord, playing video games with some of you all at crazy max settings and had my camera on without any issues. The previous PC struggled to get 60fps everything on low. Talk about a CPU bottleneck.
So, get to the point Grant, what does this mean for us? It means more content and more awesomeness. We will be gaming more on discord with eventually the start of actual gaming streams. We will see how those go!
