New Year, New Me

Hello Patrons!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! It is the year of the rabbit. And according to my off-the-head Chinese horoscope, this year is going to be of good fortune and a peaceful mind. For the rabbit folks at least.

Now, last year was a rough one without a doubt. Unexpected complications ruined an otherwise productive year. However, last year I was too often focused on output over consistency. At times, illustrations and colors of the same character look worse in newer pieces. So for this year, quality over quantity shall be the focus.

What to expect from this 'quality over quantity focus?

With illustrations, especially Patreon poll picks, there will be less emphasis on putting out as many illustrations to move onto the next poll and more on putting more time into a single poll piece. That means more variants that will be Patreon exclusives to make up for the fewer poll. Furthermore, Patreon illustrations will be available for Patrons the first 24hr before everyone else.

What about commissions?

Commissions are still with us for the new year. There are two noticeable changes for this year. First, a price increase. This will address the strong demands and increasing labor hours I am expecting this year. Second, COMIC commissions are back although they will be limited to 2koma to test the water.

Wonderful. So when can we get brainstorming?

That's the neat part. You can now in the comment. Though the poll won't be live for another week just to get settled for the new year. But when it is up you will know. :)
