Reasons:
December is always a busy month for me, not because of art. My family owns a restaurant, and in Christmas Eve & New Years, it gets REALLY CRAZY BUSY !!!
It stresses me out just thinking about it.
The London Trip:
Not only that, but in the beginning of December, I got ripped out of my work/zone to a trip to London, as a volunteer to do photography/filming. This really fucked with my brain, this trip was not about art, but taking care of an old man. The trip was UNPLEASANT!!!
- I thought I was only there to be a translator & help do some filming/photography. I was basically taking care of an old man's needs like I'm his wife (I'm a guy).
- There were many locations to go, but he didn't write any of them down. I had to be the one planning everything. Even so, everyday there was a change in the plans, because a location popped up in his head.
- He's a casual, he was no way near an expert in handling a camera/recorder (he doesn't even know how to set up the time & date in the device)!!
- I understand that he's old and he just wants to spend money luxuriously without a second thought. I do spend money for some luxuries (games), but I'm still VERY cautious/hesitant about spending (even if it's not my money). This really fucked with my brain.
- I had to stay overnight in the airport... 😭
