October update 1 Animation Loop Burr x Racc
Added 2024-10-11 16:48:30 +0000 UTCEDIT
Well here we go, it's completed. Been a bit of a struggle to get here fighting with the simulation but today it's done.
We have the main overview shot featuring both the characters, a closeup for the faces of the two characters along with a nice closeup rear shot of the action, and a longer edit featuring all of them. :D
I'm going to slowly ramp into the next animation as grinding out the simulation and constantly being on my toes incase something went wrong with a render has been a bit taxing. As my thyroid medication seems to be holding my fatigue at bay I've not had much forced 'down time' so I'm going to take a day or two for myself.
Not quite sure what I'll have ready for the end of the month for the new animation but I'll post up what I've done.
Also at some point before the end of the month I'll be putting up the Executive Producer poll to choose the next activity.
Anyway I do hope you enjoy the completed animation and I'll be back later on in the month with whatever I've cooked up by then.
Original Post Below:
Here is the update, got some new loops for you today. A very full raccoon!
We have a new version of the one shown last time, an alt version of the same, and what I'm now calling a 'wip' of the main overview shot as I've just noticed that I didn't track the camera focus so I need to re-render it. I'll edit this post with the new fixed focus of the overview shot, an alt version of the same shot, and closeups of both the burr and the Racc's face, as they are rendered. After that's done it's time for more hot Racc on Wuff action with some rimming!
Sorry I'd not got this up sooner, more simulation teething problems, another mismatch issue, last time was the fur guides. This time was character positions, and again it was something subtle. Characters offset and clipping in ways that altered from frame to frame. I tried countless ways to correct this but nothing worked. I'm now using a less flexible way to get data into my animation package (needing to re-run the sim for small changes) but it works and that's all that matters.
I'm finally getting exactly what is in one app into the other now opens the possibility of experimenting with the simulation, both in improving the settings for fur reactiveness and for applying simulation to other things
Why spend so much time working out simulation...? so the animations can be even warmer, softer and fluffier.
Anyhow, back over the next few days/maybe a week with the renders (will notify when I edit this) and then onto the Racc rimming the Wuff.
