Hey everyone!
We have a new addition to the annoying series, The Annoying Easter Basket! As with the other designs, this model is support-free and 100% 3D-printed. No external hardware needed.
This time we've got 48 bolts to get to the gift inside! It is also conveniently sized to fit 6 of the Annoying Easter Eggs inside with a little bit of room to spare!
On that note, this does take a decent bit of build space. It is designed to take the full wide of a Bambu printer, so mi...

Hey everyone!
I've got a small update/fix I've made to the Annoying Easter Egg! One of our members shared an issue they had after printing. They filled the design with candy, and it ended up getting crushed due to the orientation of the threaded portions of the egg.
I have swapped the threaded parts so now the cash stash threads internally where the candy or money would be stashed.
Updated files for paid subscribers have already been loaded into the Archives, and updated o...

2025-03-21 04:07:44 +0000 UTC View PostThe Annoying Easter Egg, an Easter Egg with an added twist. First off, this design prints support free and just threads together after printing. With standard slicer settings on a Bambu P1S, it takes around 3 hours with about 70 grams of filament used.
There is space within the threaded portion to hide some cash or a note, while also having room within the egg itself for other small treats.
The design features a relatively fine thread pattern, making it take longer to get the egg ...

Hey everyone!
I had a couple great suggestions given to me for minor improvements to the new Modular Golf Ball Holder. Someone suggested to create additional "start" and "end" pieces without the clip part so you could have a better looking "finished" design. I agreed, so I went ahead and added those additional variations.
I also explored using bar magnets instead of the small disk magnets, but eventually came to the conclusion that the design itself would need to change signif...

Hey everyone!
As golf season approaches, I wanted to take a look at an older design and see if i could make some improvements! One thing that always bugged me was exactly how many balls it should hold. That made me want to consider going a more modular route, along with a few other minor improvements.
This design is a very fast print, taking around 33 mins and 9 grams of filament on my Bambu printers. The clips don't need any supports, and snap together after printing.
They ...

Hey everyone!
As I previously mentioned, I have been working on wrapping up the Medium & Large versions of the Annoying Nested Gift Boxes. Well I've got them all wrapped up and available to download!
You should find everything you need in the print instructions and previously posted assembly video, but a couple notes about the model:
I organized the files a little differently than the original small release, so you may want to just re-download the new files and f...

Hey everyone!
Presenting the newest addition to the annoying box series, the Annoying Nested Gift Box! This model features 10 threaded layers that nest together to hide the the gift inside, and this time its designed specifically for cash. I'm sure you will all be bummed to find out that this one doesn't have any screws!
Note*** I've mentioned it in the Discord server a few times, but this is just the small version of the design. That's why I'm considering this a "partial release,...

Hey Everyone!
We finally have an authorized seller badge! This has been a request for quite some time, so I apologize that it has taken so long for me to make. I have included a .zip file with 4 different files of the graphic:
1) 500x500 png
2) 1000x1000 png
3) pdf
4) svg
Please just let me know if you might need it in any other format, or if you might want a 3D printable version of it!
Thank you all for the support!
Jacob
Hey everyone!
I've got a new Snowball Mold design now available to you!
If you follow me on social media you may have seen that I just got hit with a blizzard last week. I've wanted to mess with snowball molds for a long time, but never lived in a place that got snow until recently!
This design prints in place with no supports needed and no assembly after printing. If there is enough interest, I will consider creating more molds with different shapes!
Print file for th...

Here is a new fidget I've been fine-tuning, I call it the Click-Screw Fidget! Its a fairly simple model. There are two main pieces (one of which is comprised of two pieces itself), that create 5 satisfying clicks when they are screwed together.
It prints in about an hour on Bambu machines, using around 18g of filament.
I have attached print instructions and all STL's to this post, and have also uploaded them to the Drive Archives. There are two versions, o...

Introducing the Santa's Sleigh Phone Stand! All of the parts to this design print completely support-free, and there is no need for glue or external hardware to assemble! The Sleigh features a simple gear train for adjusting the angle of your device. Just twist the knob in the back to adjust!
Below you will find I have attached a Zip file that has the print instructions and all of the print files. I've included some pre-sliced and pre-colored .3mfs along ...

Hey everyone!
I've got a couple fixes/improvements for the various Annoying Gift Boxes. Some are things you all have requested, but I also found an issue myself with the most recent expansion that may cause some of you issues. Attached to this post you will find 4 STL's:
1. annoying_box_lid_fix
- I've had a handful of people mention that the lid was a bit snug. This is an updated lid that has more clearance so it should fit onto the container with plenty of space.
2. ...

Hey everyone!
I always like to design a new candy dish around the holidays, so for this year we've got the Hot Cocoa Container!
The design prints support free and the lid twists into place. You can feel free to scale it as large as you want, although scaling down may cause issues with the lid-locking features.
I have included the files for the container and lid if you want to print in single color and paint, but have also included a .3mf with the files already painted and r...

We have yet another upgrade to the Really Annoying Gift Box! This update adds another couple of layers and quite a few more bolts. This gives us a grand total of 666 bolts you need to remove to get to the gift inside!
As with the last upgrade, the hardware is all the same. There are just new layers to add to the outside and a bunch more bolts to keep it together.
There are quite a few different ways you can print this design at this point. You can print the...

I was looking around and I couldn't find any gravestones that I liked, so I decided to make some myself! I've released 3 decorative Halloween gravestones, and might plan to add more to the collection next year if there is interest!
These gravestones print support-free and come with threaded stakes that can be inserted into the bottom for stability.
I have uploaded the STL's to the Drive, and have also included them at the bottom of this post!

This is the Desktop Dumpster Fire. This design prints support free and everything snaps together afterwards. It features rotating casters and a removable "fire" insert. The insert can be displayed on the left or right side of the dumpster.
I created this design with desktop storage in mind, but it could be used for all sorts of things. I even gave one to a friend to use as a tip jar!
I have attached the STL's and Print Instructions below, but you can also...

Here is another model in the Droid Planter Series. If you've been around for a little bit, you may recognize that this one resembles SNIB, the desktop organizer I designed to hold sticky notes!
As with the first planter, this one has a couple elements that glue together after printing (the faceplates and eyes). The drip tray slides into place, and the legs also slide into place to be held in place by the threaded leg caps.
You can find the STL's and print ins...

Hey everyone!
Introducing the first of a small set of new planters I'll be releasing!
Around springtime I usually like to design and release a few new planter designs, and this year we have the Droid Planters. Kind of an unofficial name, but my fiancé says they remind her of droids so that's where we're at for now!
This design prints support free, and prints in multiple pieces so you don't need a multicolor printer to create a great color scheme! There are pieces that scr...

Hey everyone!
I've had a few member requests for new challenge coin displays. Someone specifically requested an American Flag design, so here we have it! This design prints in separate pieces and is meant to be glued together afterwards. It has holes in the back for wall mounting, and printable feet for table-top display.
*Important Note: I wanted to maximize the storage on this design so it maxes out a Bambu P1S/X1C build plate (256x256). If you have a printer smaller than that...

Here is a type of fidget I have been wanting to explore for a while now, gyro fidgets! You can find all of the STL's and print instructions attached below, as well as in the Archives.
So far I have 4 variations with 3 of them having a keychain version. I may be creating some more variations in the future if there is interest (including a version that uses a real bearing). I also figured this might be a solid seller for those of you with shops!
Hey everyone!
I wanted to give you a long overdue update on all things Thin Air 3D! I have seen your questions and comments wondering where I've been, and I really appreciate those of you that have reached out to make sure I was ok!

This is the Christmas Lightbulb Ornament/Container. This design prints in 2, support-free pieces that thread together afterwards. The cap has a hole cut through so you can route thread through for hanging!
The "lightbulb" portion is hollow, with an opening of about 30mm so it can be stuffed with small candy or other things. The entire design prints in about an hour on my Bambu printers!

Introducing the Peppermint Candy Bowl! If you've been around a while you may know that I have a thing for candy, which in turn means I like designing new candy dishes. Especially around the Holidays!
I was originally going to do a "normal" lid, but seeing the peppermint design made me want to see it spin! Kind of like one of those hypnosis wheels. The threading goes all the way through the container, so the lid can thread back thr...

Hey everyone!
I've had a handful of requests for a smaller, "stocking stuffer" sized Annoying Box, so now we have the Annoying Box Mini. Still support free, no glue needed. Everything just threads together.
Rather than making a ton of bolts to remove, I chose to go for a more simplified design and use 4 extra long bolts. Still slightly irritating/time consuming to open, but in a smaller package!
The internal space on the box is 66 mm x 66 mm x 57 mm, and to...
