August Update 2 (attachments!)

Small update. Racc X Polar Bear (he fits!) I've got some stills to show off today, so far I've worked on the lighting and some basic blocking. Now I'm working on animating this in tandem with fiddling with the jiggle sim. The TL;DR for why I've not done more is the thyroid medication side effects has my energy levels completely out of whack for the past week. If you want more info read on.

oh just before that, I'm going to be putting up a new poll for the Executive Producers, another round of what action should go on in the next loop, same choices as last time (and I'm always open for suggestions to add either leave a comment or DM)

So what's been keeping me from animating? well, I'm now on thyroid medication and I'm still going through the side effect adjustment period. Other than generally feeling 'weird' the main showstopper is the feeling of being both tired and wired at the same time, like pounding energy drinks when falling asleep, that sort of nasty jittery energy where you are 'awake' but not really along with spacing out. I've had that day in day out since I started. It seems to be settling down and in the past day or so I've gotten long enough periods where the jitteriness (and other weird strangeness) has let up enough and I can do stuff which is why I've something to post today.

I'm getting follow-up tests to check my levels in a few weeks and the medication level may need altering. If it does, I'll be going through another round of side effects (yay). I'm hoping this will put me on a path to being somewhat more reliable in my energy levels but we'll need to wait and see. (I've seen reports of people where this is the miracle solve to their fatigue and others where their thyroid levels get fixed and they are still tired.)

So there we go, after the oddest week I've been through in a long while (I suppose it beats being only tired all the time) I've got some stills done and will be working on animating and sim now. I'll see you next month, with a very full raccoon!

Edit: I was doing some more work on the scene and a happy accident occurred. I rendered the active cam instead of the one I meant to, and what I got was a nice closeup image of the Racc so I dropped some DOF on it and rendered it in 4K and then did a matching one for the Burr. So enjoy the bonus closeup images.
