Sunday Progress Report

Otter Explorer: Maw finished rendering this morning, it took a little longer than expected, render settings needed to be tweaked for better quality which meant starting the render over a few times.
Character rebuilds. The fox was finished up quickly after last week however the yeen took longer than anticipated as certain bits of weight painting UVs, texture work and groom could not be reused and had to be redone from scratch. After the success with the tiger tongue I also worked up better nose and pawpad textures. (I'd include some direct comparison images but they seem a bit magic spoiler-y) so just know the characters are looking better than ever :D
Focus for this week is blocking out the start of another big animation this time featuring the Yeen and Fox. The Executive Producers have decided the side project (to give me something to alternate to) will be to rig and groom the raccoon.

I do have an external shot here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/38714343 If I were to ever revisit this I'd need to completely redo the animation, the characters in that are about two or three generations behind where they are now and everything has been changed and updated.

2020-09-04 14:18:01 +0000 UTCAfter all the questions I looked into the mechanics and he won't fit. Might do something when I get an even bigger than the tiger (or even smaller than the otter) character made as people really seemed to like this animation.
