Advice: If French Revolution wins, I would end it in 1795, when things cooled down considerably; also, whenever Haiti came up, I'd be very brief and just say "But that's a really deserves to be its own topic".

Going for Civil War. It was honestly a very interesting period since it was around the time where wars could be documented visually thanks to photography.

I'd be very interested in seeing a show about the Meiji Restoration. It's a fascinating time as Japan begins to come out from their isolation and takes its first steps into the modern world. A time of Samurai and the "sword hunts" ... fertile source for an episode, I'd say.

Warring states period of feudal Japan. Basically every samurai movie ever is set then or during the Meiji Restoration/Boshin War. If you like learning about it and want a game that explores that era, try Total War: Shogun 2.

Nothing wrong with that, it's a fascinating period of history. That's why I'm very hopefully for Unity.

This is the part I'm still trying to fix. :( Hopefully I'll figure it out soon.

I have studied in school a lot of traditional "western" history like American and French and Russian. I really want to see a side of history I haven't been exposed to. :) Go Sengoku Jidai!

I'm also having trouble seeing the voting results. I was shown only "print your vote" and "show statistics" that inky shows the number of votes.

Looking at the comments, I'm actually completely unaware of what Sengoku Jidai is. I'd like to see what it is first with EC :D

I'm having trouble getting this survey to display the voting results (which are not intended to be secret). If anyone here has any experience with LimeSurvey and can tell me how to set that up, answer here or email soraya[at]extra-credits[dot]net please!

I went with Alexander, but the French Revolution and Sengoku Jidai are both pretty amazing too. Tough choice, but I guess that means I win no matter what. LOL

Tough choice, but I went for japan. Interesting to see how different parts of the world handle different conflicts, plus I know nothing about it.

I voted Sengoku Jidai because it is something I know almost nothing about, but I'm sure you guys will make it interesting whatever it is.
