What happened with Rank 4?
Added 2025-05-30 21:04:53 +0000 UTCWhenever we accept a commission, we always purchase the raw version — in other words, the product legally — in order to obtain the highest possible image quality for the project. Recently, we were commissioned a project and, during the process, we realized that purchasing it required someone else’s help because our cards weren’t accepted.
So, we had to rely on a provider who gave us their pricing table, and some of the prices were extremely high. That’s when we realized there was a problem with this rank that needed to be addressed. Since each commission involves hiring a new team or assigning a dedicated staff (who get paid), we had to adjust the number of chapters to continue delivering these projects with the best quality possible.
If anyone is interested in knowing whether their chosen work qualifies for 10–12 chapters, feel free to contact us via Patreon or Discord. Also, if you know which site your Manhwa or Manhua comes from, here’s a small table showing the estimated number of chapters we can currently provide based on raw provider and staff costs:
Lezhin: 12 chapters
Kakao 19+: 6 chapters
Kakao +15: 10 chapters
Naver: 6 chapters
Webtoon: 6 chapters
Bomtoon: 10 chapters
Toptoon, being a more delicate platform with varying prices, would require us to first check with our providers. Based on the price, we’ll let you know how many chapters we can deliver.
