Grandpa Netero, taught Gon and Killua very earlier on that despite their natural abilities and talents there are many levels to being a hunter especially when you consider they're still children and Netero has been doing this for many decades. It's like a middle schooler trying to play chess with a world champion chess master.

2025-06-30 12:37:03 +0000 UTCWhat I really like about this episode is how it gives us the first glimpse of Hunter x Hunter’s deeper approach to character writing. Instead of the usual clear-cut good vs evil, it shows that people can be very complex, layered, and morally grey rather than just black or white. Killua clearly is very nice towards Gon, but would kill 2 guys in an instant if they annoyed him. It makes you wonder: Is he a good guy? or just pure evil? or is it a kid who doesn't really know better because he was raised that way? We're still at the beginning of the epic journey, thanks for the uploads guys! 🔥
