November Update

Hey everyone, time for another update.

So to start things off, I'm going to do a rundown of the schedule for the remainder of the month and then move on to some other news and also an explanation of why the campaign has slowed a bit, as well as the future of the campaign.

Schedule

This week is Thanksgiving week so the next two pages of Cup O' Love and Spelunky Knight will be out late around the weekend time.

Wednesday and Thursday I will be off doing lots of stuff, including errands and dinner get-together's.

The Patron Reward Stream will most likely be around December 1-3 for November's rewards.

I will have a sketch stream this Friday if I am able to get some time for it.

Some good News!

I will be moving to a new state early next year! :D

My wife Dchan got a great job opportunity so we are packing things up and relocating from December to January. 

She's going ahead of me while I take care of things before I head up too.

After the move, you will definitely start seeing A LOT more art coming out of this Patreon campaign and other cool things as well, like the revival of my podcast among other things. :)

What's been going on

TLDR; Stuff has been hectic due to family emergencies and more, but it's gonna get better next year, more art and new stuff coming in 2018!

This whole year started off pretty rocky, with lots of overdue work and debts carried over from 2016. I managed to knock out most of them in the early spring but things were still rough. Eventually in July, I had to make the choice whether to renew my lease or move.

Sadly, the choice was to move due to a whole slew of family related issues. Basically, I've been helping a family member come back from some major bad events that happened to them. Because of this, my time has been really affected and caused productivity to go way down. We've managed to maintain things and have slowly been helping get them back on track.

And then some hurricanes came to say hello.

Since September we just finished moving to a temporary home to help that family member. Then to add to the stress of all that, the recent hurricanes have uprooted other family members from their home, and we had no other option but to take them in with us.

Since October, I have been basically doing two jobs, art and nursing, to help readjust and care for these family members in a time of crisis. Things have slowly been getting...more routine...but it's been one big jumbled stressful time for everyone involved.

So if you've ever dropped by the streams I do and I suddenly have to take off due to 'errands', it's basically related to all this mess.

So I've been working to get things ready for the eventuality that Dchan and I would be moving out. And luckily enough, Dchan landed a great job that will basically double our income. This has now set things in motion for us to preparing to leave and move on with our lives. 

2017 has not been a kind year, but we're almost done and will be heading to a new state where we can finally get back to a normal routine and get some work accomplished.

So that's about the gist of it. I've omitted specific details but it sums up why I've been a little less active overall and what is in store for the future.

I'll continue to do what I can for the rest of the year and eventually get back to making content more often.
