That makes sense! I remember hearing this a long time ago, but I remember that DB Super had the same problem with catching up to the manga.

2024-07-11 21:05:31 +0000 UTCI kind of like cell's flashback even though its a bit drawn out he really shows how poweful and perfect he is when he has all of the saiyan's , piccolo and frieza DNA , he has the most potential for strength out of anyone . He has saiyan zenkai boost , frieza durability and piccolo regeneration .

2024-07-11 18:48:50 +0000 UTCI think they had to do things like the Cell flashback scene in this episode just to fill space/time while they waited on the manga to catch up. Iβm not sure how far along in writing the manga Toriyama was when this original episode first came out. But I think them waiting on Toriyama was the case for some of the filler we got in the show.

Nice of him not to fire until Gohan got motivated enough to fight back. Can you imagine being everyone else? Its like Yugi talking to the pharaoh's spirit, when it looks like he's talking to nothing π
