Speed draw!

Been busy, work is so draining that I only have so much in me after it to draw, so this one took me a week to complete, but here's the speed draw for it as a teaser for the finished page.

I walk 16 km each day, lift, push and pull weights in excess of 150 lbs for more than half of it, and transport things that weight 70lbs over distances of 1km, I am so happy that I have stuck to my gym routine since army days. Or this job would have fucked me up.
Sadly it still leaves me pretty beat...

Finally the final day of training for my new job is over!

I should be able to draw more again. More comics, commissions and crap. In other news, I’ll be working through the Christmas, so that’s going to be good money at least.

I have 4 days of training left in my new day job then I start with casual schedule work, which means I’ll have more time for art again and can finally begin with the art streams and stuff I had planned for the summer, before everything went to hell. It’s good to get to continue with my comics and creative plans finally. This year has been a rough one for sure.

Ok, my new day job has been tolerable, aside from the continuous insomnia leaving me with less than four hours of sleep a night, usually less for a month now. Tonight was first time I slept more than 6 in a long time by sheer virtue of being placed in evening shift and having extra time for sleep. I am hoping that means I have more energy to draw after work. It’s been one hellishly difficult month for me. I can’t say that my mental health has flourished recently. Dealing with dad’s passing, my relationship passing and new job sapping up what little remains of my energy reserves after all that. I hope that once I have my dad buried I at least will have one less thing to deal with instead of another taking its place. These Pokémon are essentially all I’ve had time for this month. Quick marker doodles in one afternoon.

Mobile phone news!

My new home doesn’t yet have internet connection, so my access to internet is limited to mobile data, my new work also has amped up with training period, so I haven’t had time for art much. On top of that, my father passed away after he had a keto acidosis due to untreated diabetes. He had medication, but had not been taking it. Another one down, This week was super busy in the job hunt, but I finally got good news in the job front so at least roof over my head is secure now. I did not have time for APA or snake in the office this week, but at least Bowsette is here. I had to make a portfolio, get started in online portfolio, make some sample art to a comic book company and so forth, it's been insanely hectic time. (art updated, had a little mistake there.)

Been chipping away at this for a few weeks now between everything else.

More computer trouble.

I sadly have to take my PC in for more repairs, it seems that my current PSU is either failing, or insufficient to my new build. so when ever my GPU has to go full utilization, or needs to multitask with both 3D render and video encoding, it overtaxes PSU and shuts down, and thus loses all visual output on the PC, crashing all GPU bound apps and processes. and it takes a reboot to recover visuals, needless to say, this is a disasterous state for an art focused PC.
