Oda supervises the casting choices, so every actor is basically as canon as you can get lol and everyone truly does look spot on, even the random side characters. But Iñaki really gets to that blend of carefree and unsettling aura I think. And I really appreciate how willing the live action is to show blood and brutality; the anime tends to censor things that happen in the manga, so there are points where the live action can actually be more true to the bloodier or more uncomfortable parts of the manga which is cool! (Like how it shows Luffy getting his scar by trying to stab his eye to prove himself, which isn't shown in the anime.) And of course just more realistic with it. Kind of funny how they have to nerf Luffy during most fights though since they'd need a CRAZY CGI budget to animate all that lmao so I guess no wonder Zoro ends up doing so much. Fun fact, not only is Mackenyu (Zoro) extremely goodlooking, he was already so good at swordplay and martial arts that he sometimes had to slow it down for other people on set bc he's trained in it for most of his life. Awesome reaction! And it's super fun to get to see you making comparisons to the anime already while also getting to see some new things!
